Tour Itinerary
Pick up from Airport & Transfer to Hotel
Arrival at Siem Reap International Airport. After completing immigration formalities, meet our representatives. Then transfer to the hotel for check in. In the afternoon, visit a place called Meanchey which has natural mangroves forests full of hundreds species of fresh water fishes, birds & decorated with ethnic stilted houses line over the water surface. We embark on the traditional wooden boat through the flooded forests of the famous Great Tonle Sap Lake. The journey will bring you to the Chong Kneas village. This amazing floating village is built on 8m to 10m high stilts. Enjoy your time with the nature, local communities & cultures. After the tour return back to the hotel & relax.
Visit Angkor Wat (TA Prohm Temple, Bayon Temple, Terrace of Elephant & Leper King etc.)
After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for the tour to the crowning jewel of Khmer architecture, the world famous Angkor Wat Temple which is the Cambodian national symbol. The largest, well-preserved & religiously significant Angkor temples impress visitors by its sheer size & scale, beautiful design & layout and the delicate artistry of its ancient carvings. - Visit TA Prohm Temple- much of the jungle has not been cleared & it looks pretty much same when European explorers first stumbled across them.
- Visit Angkor Thom which covers a vast area of 10 square km. Enter by the monumental South Gate. Either side of the gate has statues of demons, gods & giant naga.
- Visit the Terrace of the Elephants & Leper Kings which was former spaces for public ceremonies. Both of these adorned with dramatic bas reliefs.
- Visit the ruined Baphuon, Royal Enclosure and Phimeanakas.
- Visit the mysterious Bayon Temple. Explore the galleries of well-preserved bas reliefs & the central sanctuary, where you will find giant stone faces enigmatically smiling down at you from every angle.
Dropped off at the Airport
After breakfast, checkout of the hotel. Drop you off at Siem Reap international airport for flying back to Dhaka.
