Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrive Melbourne

Arrive Melbourne international airport, transfer to hotel, rest of the day free at your own leisure. Overnight at hotel.

Day 2: Enjoy Full Day Melbourne City Full-Day Tour Including Lanes and Arcades Walk (B)

Hop on board your premium coach with your experienced driver/guide and travel around the city of Melbourne. Sightseeing includes:
Lygon Street "Little Italy", Melbourne University, the beautiful Royal Exhibition Building and Melbourne Museum, Parliament House and the Princess Theatre, MCG - Melbourne Cricket Ground, the inner suburb of East Melbourne with the ornate terraced buildings and the bustling Chinatown.
This morning half-day tour also includes plenty of stops to ensure that you get the perfect holiday snap. Your first stop is a guided walking tour through the city, starting from Bourke Street Mall, travel through Block Arcade, Royal Arcade, Centre Place and Degraves Street. Learn about the history and culture of Melbourne city.
The walking tour is followed by a stop to the Fitzroy Gardens. At Fitzroy Gardens there is time to visit Captain Cook's Cottage (at own expense) or explore the flower filled conservatory in the gardens.
The tour will then conclude with time to snap up a bargain or grab a coffee and a donut at the vibrant Queen Victoria Market. There is plenty of time to walk around and take in this very cosmopolitan atmosphere. On Mondays and Wednesdays the market is closed, in lieu of this, you will instead visit the Shrine of Remembrance where there is time to walk around the gardens or stop for some morning tea.
After a brief stop to get lunch (own expense), jump back on board your coach for an afternoon visiting; Melbourne Park - National Tennis Centre, Arts Centre, Docklands, Docklands Stadium, Bolte Bridge, Port Melbourne, Fashionable Elwood and Albert Park Lane.
Finish up your afternoon visiting the Shrine of Remembrance or Royal Botanic Gardens, Acland Street in St Kilda - a mix of funky bars, amazing cake shops and boutique shops and a photo stop at the colourful Brighton Beach Bathing Boxes.

Day 3: Enjoy Full Day Great Ocean Road Eco-Tour (B/L)

After morning pickup at your hotel, get comfortable on your deluxe minicoach and head southwest along the scenic coast. Your knowledgeable guide shares informative commentary about the sights as you travel.
About one hour into your journey, travel through Torquay, a beach town known for its surf culture and as the start of the Great Ocean Road. Next, enjoy a morning tea break at a beachside location before continue another hour to Kennett River where you take a short walk in eucalyptus forest to look for koalas and colorful parrots.
Further along, at the foot of the Otway Ranges, have lunch in the beautiful town of Apollo Bay. Then enjoy free time to explore the shops and marina or take a dip in the water.
Your next stop takes you into Great Otway National Park for a leisurely stroll at Maits Rest. A wooden boardwalk leads through lovely fern gardens and rain forest, with giant trees up to 300 years old.
Hop back on the bus to visit Port Campbell National Park, known for offshore rock formations such as the Twelve Apostles.
Next, drive to your final destination, Gibson Steps. An area of cliffs on the south coast of Australia.
Your return journey includes a stop for dinner (at own expense) and stunning views of the lights of Melbourne as you cross the West Gate Bridge.

Day 4: Enjoy Full Day Phillip Island Penguin Parade Tour (B)

Be picked up from your Melbourne hotel, then enjoy a scenic trip through the tree-lined streets of Melbourne's southeastern suburbs and around the harbor of Westernport Bay.
Your first stop is a wildlife encounter at Maru Koala and Animal Park, to interact with koalas, kangaroos, Tasmanian devils and other native Australian animals.
Continue to the beach resort of San Remo and cross the bridge to Phillip Island. Travel around the island's surf coast to admire the rock formations of the Nobbies, home to penguins, fur seals and sea birds.
Your next stop is the Penguin Parade at Summerland Beach, where you can visit the information center to learn more about the cute little penguins. Then take your seat to watch the nightly Penguin Parade as the little penguins come home to their burrows after a day spent fishing at sea. Watch as part of the world's largest colony of smallest penguin species leave the water and waddle up the beach to their homes.
Optional Penguin Parade upgrades:

Penguin Plus Viewing Platform Watch the parade from an exclusive viewing platform next to the main route from the sea followed by the penguins. Limited to 150 people, the experience includes a free drink and small gift.
The Penguin Skybox
View the Penguin Parade from the exclusive vantage point of an elevated viewing tower located at the main viewing stands. Limited to just five people, the Skybox is warm and dry, and gives you the best view of the penguins' burrows on Summerland Beach. Interact with the ranger and join in the nightly penguin count, assisting in the ongoing research to help protect Phillip Island's little penguins. The Skybox experience includes canapes and non-alcoholic drinks.
Ranger Guided Tour The ultimate penguin experience is limited to a maximum of 15 people. Visit a secluded beach location for a special guided tour that allows you to get even closer to the little penguins.
Underground Viewing Experience
Get an eye level view of the little penguins in this brand new underground viewing area. Enjoy the closest possible view of the penguins in their natural habitat with the comfort and convenience of being undercover and out of the elements. Limited to 70 people.

Day 6: Melbourne to Sydney (B)

Transfer to airport for departure to Sydney.
Arrive Sydney, transfer to hotel, rest of the day free at your own leisure, overnight at hotel.

Day 7: Enjoy Full Day Sydney City Tour with Sydney Harbour Lunch Cruise (B/L)

Morning Sydney City Tour and Sydney Harbour Luncheon Cruise (6 hours) After pickup from your centrally located Sydney hotel, start your half-day Sydney city tour aboard a comfortable air-conditioned coach. Head to The Rocks for a short walking tour around the historic neighborhood where Sydney began. Then drive by the Sydney Opera House, Hyde Park, St Mary’s Cathedral, Royal Botanic Gardens, Darling Harbour, Kings Cross and much more while listening to commentary from your knowledgeable guide.
Enjoy many photo ops, including a stop at Mrs Macquarie's Chair for superb views of Sydney Harbour and the skyline, before driving through the exclusive suburbs of Double Bay and Vaucluse en route to Bondi Beach, one of Australia's most famous beaches. Have 30 minutes at your leisure to stroll around Bondi Beach before returning to Sydney to meet your boat for the luncheon cruise.
Board your catamaran for the relaxing 2-hour cruise, which includes a seafood buffet lunch with fresh local seafood, hot and cold dishes, desserts and fruit. From the catamaran's expansive decks, take in all the sights of Sydney Harbour, such as Sydney Harbour Bridge, Sydney Opera House and Fort Denison while learning the history of Sydney Harbour and its present-day highlights. Your tour finishes when you disembark at Circular Quay or King St Wharf, Darling Harbour.

Day 8: Enjoy Full Day Blue Mountains Day Trip (B)

Start with morning pickup at your Sydney hotel for your day trip to the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Blue Mountains National Park. Accompanied by an experienced guide, travel aboard a comfortable coach on a 1.5-hour drive to Leura for morning tea. Take the tree-lined Cliff Drive to arrive at Katoomba Scenic World and have time to ride on any of Scenic World’s three attractions (at own expense) or simply stroll along elevated walkways through lush rainforest. Next, purchase lunch at a restaurant that overlooks the Three Sisters rock formations and Jamison Valley, before heading to Echo Point for another view of these iconic sights.

On your way back to Sydney, stop at Featherdale Wildlife Park where you can opt to hand-feed kangaroos, wallabies and emus then have your picture taken with a koala. Finish the day with a relaxing cruise down the Parramatta River to Sydney Harbour. Tour will conclude at either King Street Wharf in Darling Harbour or at Circular Quay.
