Visa Procedure (Tourist & Business):

All the visa applications of Egypt is Processed by Japan Embassy. Applications are submitted on walk-in basis. The applicant have to present in person during visa application submission.

Application Submit: Sunday to Thursday: 09:00am to 10:50am
Passport Collection: Sunday to Thursday: 02:30pm to 03:30pm
Information & Visa Application Form collection: 9:00am to 3:00pm

Requirements (Tourist & Business):

Personal Documents:

• Duly filled Application form & Tour Plan
• 2 Photos must be 2x2 inch, color photo with white background, taken within the last 6 months)
• Current (valid for 6 months) and Old passports, if immediate previous passport is lost then a G.D (English) copy for that passport is required.
• Forwarding letter (from applicant)

Professional Documents:

• For Business Person :
• Business registration papers as Trade License copy, memorandum of article, certificate of incorporation etc.
• Document certifying company activities such as Brochures, leaflets, newspaper clippings, etc. (if any)
• Contract or L/C, related this time’s visit (if any)
• List of trade goods related this time’s visit (if any)
• Employment letter (from employer for business visit)
• For Employee : NOC letter, GO & Note verbal (for official passport holders)
• Visiting Card
• For Retired Person: Retirement documents
• For Student : Student ID copy, School leave letter / Academic calendar

Financial Documents:

• Bank solvency & statement ( both company & personal )
• Income Tax Certificate (For last 3 years) / TIN certificate
• If the travel expenses are borne by a guarantor living in Japan
• Guarantee letter
• Company Registration of Japanese Company (It is called To-kibo To-hon)
• Employment letter of Japanese Guarantor (Personal business invitation by guarantor only)

Travel Documents:

• Air Booking copy
• Hotel Booking Copy

Overseas Documents:

• For Sight-seeing: If the travel expenses are borne by a guarantor living in Japan
• Guarantee letter
• Tax certificate, Bank statement or Income certificate (any one)
• Citizen registration or certificate of foreigner registration and passport copy
• For Business Visit: If the travel expenses are borne by a guarantor living in Japan
• Guarantee letter
• Company Registration of Japanese Company (It is called To-kibo To-hon)
• Employment letter of Japanese Guarantor (Personal business invitation by guarantor only)
• For Relatives Visit: If the travel expenses are borne by a guarantor living in Japan
• Guarantee letter
• guarantor's Tax certificate, Bank statement or Income certificate (any one)
• Citizen registration certificate (Jyumin-hyo)
• Certificate of foreigner registration and passport copy (If guarantor is a foreinger only)
• Family Registration (Koseki-Tohon) (If guarantor is a Japanese only) (If any)
• Passport copy of Relative in Japan including all visa pages (If relative is a foreigner only) (If any)
• Zairyu Card Copy of guarantor
• For other short term visit purpose (as Short term training, seminar, meeting, examination, competition etc.): If the travel expenses are borne by a guarantor living in Japan
• Guarantee letter

Note: Please keep all the original documents as trade license, TIN/income tax certificate etc. & one set photocopy of all documents of the&application file.

Processing Time (Total Approx. 8/9 days):

• File Processing: 3/ 4 working days
• Embassy Processing: 5 Working days

• Embassy Fee: No Visa Fee
• Processing fee: Tourist & Business TK. 3000 BDT
