Visa Procedure (Tourist & Business):

There are two types of visa application process for Malaysia.

• E-Visa
• Sticker visa

Process for E-Visa:

Malaysia E-visa for Bangladeshi passport holders have to a traveled sticker visa. The validity period of your eVISA is 3 months from the eVISA issued date by the Department of Immigration Malaysia. You are allowed to stay in Malaysia up to the maximum of 30 days. If you stay longer than 30 days, you may be subjected to an administrative fine and your entry into Malaysia might be forbidden for a certain period of time. We advise to apply for your eVISA at least 2 weeks before your travel date to Malaysia.

Visa Fees: 3362BDT
Processing Time: 48-72 working hours
Note: eVISA does not guarantee you to enter Malaysia. It is subject to the approval of the Department of Immigration Malaysia at the Malaysia entry exit point.

Below are the documents that need to be scanned and uploaded with your application.

• eVISA printout copy
• Sufficient funds (Cash/ Travelers Cheque/Debit or Credit Cards) to cover expenses during the stay at Malaysia
• confirmed Returned flight ticket
• Proof of accommodation

Process for Sticker Visa:

Applications are submitted through some Listed Authorized Visa Agents (for detail, visit kln.gov.my/web/bgd_dhaka)

Other Details:

• Application Submission: Sunday - Thursday 08.45 hrs to 10.30 hrs
• Passport/Document collection: Sunday - Thursday 1500 hrs to 1700 hrs

Requirements (Tourist & Business):

• Duly filled Application form
• Two recent color photos, 35x50 mm and lab print with white background. Taken within the last 6 months).
• Current (valid for 6 months) and Old passports, if immediate previous passport is lost then a G.D (English) copy for that passport is required.
• Photocopy of previous Malaysian visa page (if any)
• Marriage certificate(if travel with family members)
• Forwarding letter (from the applicant)
• Employment letter (from employer for business visit)

Professional Documents:

• For Business Person : Trade license, memorandum of article, certificate of incorporation etc. (for Business Person) notary copy if original is in Bangla
• For Employee : NOC letter, GO & Note verbal (for official passport holders)
• Visiting Card
• For Retired Person: Retirement documents
• For Student : Student ID copy, School leave letter / Academic calendar

Financial Documents:

• Bank Statement (personal or business) showing consistent history for a period of last 6 months (recent)
• Bank Solvency Certificate
• International credit card for those living outside of Bangladesh

Travel Documents:

• Air Booking copy
• Hotel Booking Copy

Overseas Documents:

• Invitation/Reference letter from sponsor or counterpart in Malaysia, if relevant

Processing Time (Total Approx. 9/10 days):

• File Processing: 2/3 Working Days
• Embassy Processing time: 7 working Days normally

Visa fee Details (Tourist & Business):

• Embassy fee: Tourist & Business: TK. 3400 BDT (E-Visa)
• Embassy fee: Tourist & Business: TK. 5400 BDT (Sticker Visa)
• Processing fee: TK. 1000 BDT
