Visa Procedure (Tourist & Business):

Tourist visas can be obtained on arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu and designated entry points in Nepal. But anyone willing to obtain visa also can get form the Embassy following procedures.

Requirements:

Personal Documents:

• Duly filled Application form
• Two recent passport size color photos with white background.
• Passport with 6 months validity.
• Employment letter (from employer for business visit)

Professional Documents:

• For Business Person : Trade license (for Business Person)- notary copy if original is in Bangla, Visiting Card
• For Employee: NOC letter, GO & Note verbal (for official passport holders), Visiting Card & Valid ID Card photocopy.
• Visiting Card
• For Retired Person: Retirement documents
• For Student: Valid original student ID card & last Educational Certificate (attested photocopy) or a recommendation letter from the College/University.
• For “Group Visa”: Submission of a name list with passport numbers on a College/University/ official letter pad with recommendation from department head (with official seal and signature of the Department head). That letter has to be faxed to the Embassy before submission of the application.

Travel Documents:

• Dhaka - Kathmandu - Dhaka Two way confirm ticket

Overseas Documents:

• Business Invitation Letter – For Business Visit

Processing Time (Approx.):

• File Processing : 1/2 working days
• Embassy : 01 working days ( Normally)

Visa fee Details (Tourist & Business):

• Processing fee : Tourist & Business TK.1000 BDT
• Tourist visas for the nationals of SAARC Countries are issued free of charge for the first VISA in one visa year (01 January to 31 December) and the second visa in the same year will be subject to a visa fee.
• The fees for the issuance of Tourist Visas to the Foreigners and Second Visa for SAARC Countries in the same VISA year are as follows:
• for 15 Days Multiple Entries Tourist Visa TK. 2200.00 BDT
• for 30 Days Multiple Entries Tourist Visa TK. 3500.00 BDT
• for 90 Days Multiple Entries Tourist Visa TK. 9000.00 BDT
