Visa Procedure:

There is no Embassy of Ireland in Bangladesh. For any kind of Irish visa applicant (Bangladeshi Passport Holder) can apply from Embassy of Ireland in India.

Visa applicant’s residence in Bangladesh no need to take appointment to submit the application file and also is NOT required to give biometrics & without applicant any authorized person can also submit the application file and can collect passport.

Requirements (Tourist & Business):

Personal Documents:

• Fully completed and signed application summary sheet, supporting required documents form & declaration form.
• Payment confirmation receipt
• Two colour passport sized (35x45mm) photographs not more than 6 months old and complying with the photograph requirements on inis.gov.ie
• Current passport, previous passport/s & a full copy of any previous passport/s (current passport must be valid for at least 6 months after your intended date of departure from Ireland).
• If applicant not a national of the country where you are applying from, you must submit evidence of your permission to be in that country e.g. a residence card. You must also have at least 3 months permission to be in that country after your intended date of departure from Ireland.
• Birth certificate/National ID Card of applicant
• Signed letter of application including full contact details
• An original, signed and dated letter of headed paper form your accountant/tax consultant/lawyer (for self-employed)
• Marriage Certificate ( Nika Namah for Muslim, Marriage Act for Hindus) / divorce certificate(Talak Namah for Muslim)/Death certificate ( for widow or widowers)- if traveling without spouse & original Birth Certificates of children – if traveling without them

Professional Documents:

• For Business Person: Trade license, memorandum of article, Certificate of incorporation of the company or organization, VAT, IRC, LC copy, membership certificate etc.
• Original hardcopy letter from the employer outlining your business reason for travelling to Ireland. This letter should clearly state:
• How long you are required to stay;
• Provide details of where you intend to stay while you are in Ireland;
• State that the cost of trip is being borne by the company
• Undertake that you will observe the conditions of your visa, that you will not become a burden on the State, and that you will leave the State on the expiry of your permission to remain.
• For Employee : NOC letter (the letter from your employer that states: How long you have been employed there, the dates you are on vacation, the date you will be returning to work in that job), Original Pay Slip ( last 3 months), GO & Note verbal (for official passport holders)
• Visiting Card
• For Retired Person: Retirement documents
• For Student : Student ID copy, School leave letter (letter from your school or college that states: the course you are studying, how many years you have been a student there, how many years/semesters you have left there, the letter should also state that your school/college expects you return to your studies after your vacation or study trip to Ireland) or Academic calendar

Financial Documents:

• Bank solvency & statement ( both company & personal )
• Other financial documents-such as FDR, credit card statements, saving certificate, share statement etc. (if available)
• Income Tax Certificate (For last 3 years) / TIN certificate
• Valuation of other Assets (if any)

Travel Documents:

• Air Booking copy
• Hotel Booking Copy

Overseas Documents:

• For Tourist Visit: Personal Invitation letter & related documents (if available)
• For Business Visit: Business invitation letter- The letter (soft copy acceptable, must have company letterhead, contact details, date and signature) from the host company in Ireland detailing: the nature and duration of your business trip, Who will cover the cost of the trip and how you will be supported for the duration of your stay inclusive of travel, accommodation and living expenses, etc.

Processing Time

• Embassy Processing time: Business/Conference visa - 6 working days
• All other short term visas: 15 working days
• Kolkata VFS Transit Time: 2+2= 4 Working Days (Approx.)
• Our File Transit Time: 5/7 working days, also depends on our slot availability

Visa fee Details (Tourist & Business):

• Embassy Fee: Single-5345 Tk (4100INR), Multi-8865Tk,(6800INR) + VFS Global Service Charge: 2210Tk (1700INR)
• Our Service Charge: 20,000Tk
