Visa Type:

There are many types of visas are available for UK, such as Tourist, Business, Transit, Private Medical Treatment Visitor, Student, Work etc.

We provides consultancy support for short term visas as Tourist & Business visas.

Visa Procedure (Tourist & Business):

All the visa applications are processed outside Bangladesh and facilitate by VFS Global Bangladesh Pvt. Ltd. For the application process, you must book and attend an appointment at the visa application centre in Dhaka or Sylhet. All UK visa applicants are required to book an appointment prior to submission. Walk in applicants will no longer be accommodated.

UK Visa Application Centre – Dhaka:

Working hours: Sunday to Thursday 08:30 - 16:30

Applicants wishing to lodge applications are requested to enter the visa application center between 08:30 - 14:00

Passport delivery: 08:30 – 16:00

The visa application centre in Sylhet is user pay and all applicants applying from Sylhet need to pay a GBP 55 (6299 BDT) charge at the same time as paying for their visa.

You do not have to pay this fee if you are exempt from the visa application fee.

UK Visa Application Centre – Sylhet

Applicants wishing to submit their visa applications are requested to visit the visa application Centre between 08:30 - 13:00

Passport delivery: 08:30 – 16:00 (In person) and 14:00 – 16:00 (3rd Party Collection)

Appeal passport submission: 09:00 - 14:00

Requirements (Tourist & Business):

Personal Documents:

• Duly filled Online Application form
• Current (valid for 6 months) and Old passports, if immediate previous passport is lost then a G.D (English) copy for that passport is required.
• Birth certificate/National ID Card of applicant
• Marriage Certificate ( Nika Namah for Muslim, Marriage Act for Hindus)divorce certificate(Talak Namah for Muslim) / Death certificate ( for widow or widowers).
• Forwarding letter (from the applicant)
• Bangladeshi Residence Permit (for non-Bangladeshi applicants) - valid at least 3 months beyond the intended date of departure from the territory of the Member States, Tenancy Agreement paper.

Professional Documents:

• For Business Person: Trade license, memorandum of article, Certificate of incorporation of the company or organization, VAT, IRC, Membership Certificate etc.
• Employment letter (from employer for business visit).
• For Employee : NOC letter, Pay Slip – last 3 months, Salary certificate, GO & Note verbal (for official passport holders)
• Visiting Card
• For Retired Person: Retirement documents
• For Student : Student ID copy, School leave letter / Academic calendar

Financial Documents:

• Bank solvency & statement ( both company & personal )
• Other financial documents-such as FDR, credit card statements, saving certificate, share statement etc. (if available)
• Income Tax Certificate (For last 3 years) / TIN certificate
• Valuation of other Assets (if any)

Travel Documents:

• Air Booking copy
• Hotel Booking Copy

Overseas Documents:

• For Tourist Visit: Personal Invitation letter – (if available) and additionally - Invitees passport copy, Bank statement copy, Tenancy agreement paper, utility bill copy & additional supporting documentation etc.
• For Business Visit: Business invitation letter and related documents (as the letter should incorporate relevant personal data of the invited, length of the invitation, reason and activity to develop in the Member State during the visit. Evidence of former and current transactions in Bangladesh and/or abroad (e.g. bill of lading, receipts, contracts, correspondence). If commercial fairs or congress: (i) Proof of attendance through either letters of invitation from the organizer of the event, or payment of the registration fee; (ii) Programme of the event etc )

If you’re applying to visit for private medical treatment-

You must prove that you:

• have a medical condition that needs private consultation or treatment in the UK
• have made or paid for arrangements for consultations or treatment
• have enough money to pay for your treatment, support yourself without using public funds and pay for your return or onward journey
• will leave the UK once your treatment is completed, or when your visa expires
• are not a danger to public health if you’re suffering from an infectious disease, such as leprosy

Other information you’ll need-

• You’ll need to provide the following:
• The dates you’re planning to travel to the UK
• Details of where you’ll be staying during your visit
• How much you think your trip will cost
• Your current home address and how long you’ve lived there
• Your parents’ names and dates of birth
• How much you earn in a year

• Details of your travel history for the past 10 years (as shown in your passport)
• Your employer’s address and telephone number
• Your partner’s name, date of birth, and passport number
• The name and address of anyone paying for your trip
• The name, address and passport number of any family members you have in the UK
• Details of any criminal, civil or immigration offences you have committed

Note: Your application shall be informed to you via SMS (if the same has been opted for during application submission) or via email on the ID that was provided during submission of application.

• Longer-term (valid for up to 10 years): TK. 87,852 BDT
